The underside is stamped with a D pierced by an arrow and surrounded by a star and the words "Metal Pratead

& S" and "916M" and has the trumpet and banner mark of Dixon & Sons

The edge of the case is stamped "Real Hide

This whip has a dark horn cap or pommel

Antique Hand Forged Heavy Iron Horseshoe #02 chinese This is a white cottonThis is a very heavy hand forged iron horseshoe. The shoe is quite flat and it has a toe clip at the front. There are seven nail holes The shoe probably dates from the 18th or 19th century, although it is not easy to be accurate about the age of a blacksmith made shoe.
